Team update - Don Myrah joins Buy-Cell.com

Egad! It's been a while since the last post. Well, we're just getting our second wind over here at the old Buy Sell. So let's update you on all that's been happening since summer:

We picked up a new team member this fall. If you've been a mountain biker since the early 90's, you'll surely recognize the name. Former National Champion and 1996 Olympics Team member, Don Myrah has gotten off the couch after nearly 10 years and is now racing for Buy-Cell.com. He's managed to crack a few top 10 Men's A finishes, and looks to be focusing his sites on the ever-competitive Master A 35+ field.



Kurt Genshammer was in Europe for 2 months slacking like a slacker ass, then came back and started cross season in early November with absolutely no training...unless you consider drinking lots of beer training.



Chicken Sticks Chavez has been absolutely dominating the NorCal Singlespeed 'Cross scene this fall. In fact, Cesar was undefeated in the entire Bay Area Super Prestige Series for 2007! 5 for 5. Way to go Chicken Sticks.



Timmy C has earned himself a new nickname - Ribs - for riding off a cliff on Kennedy during the annual pre-Turkey Day midnight Chinese downhill and almost breaking every rib in his body. Almost. He didn't break any, thank the good lord. Of course, he blamed it on his Nite Rider going out on him, so Nite Rider, if you're reading...you're in for an earfull!



The Dickie Machine has been keeping his head above water in the insanely competitive Master A 35+ category. In fact, he finished 9th overall for the Bay Area Super Prestige Series. Considering 5 or 6 guys in that field have won a Masters national championship, it's a damn solid performance. The Dickie Machine is in full operation.



Superfit Mike has been rockin' the running scene this fall with another win in the Los Gatos Beer Mile, completing it in a 6:15. He's also been seen showing up to a few 'cross races on his new Santa Cruz.

Dean The Dream has been working Match.com harder than the entire state of Arizona. He's also been finishing very solidly in the Men's A field, cracking a few top tens. Now if he would only drop the Seafoam green garb and come back to his home team!
